Light and matter have been the subjects of interest since the rise of φυσική (the knowledge of nature) or physics. The current program is aimed at the advancement of the quantum/classical description of the interaction of light and matter. Our research interests cover various topics including Mie scattering from nanoparticle aggregates, electric and magnetic hotspots, meta-surfaces, hybrid quantum dot-nanoparticle systems, quantum rings, topological insulator nanoparticles, Floquet engineering of quantum materials, topological magnon-photon polaritons, terahertz emission, graphene plasmonics, etc.
