Workshop on

Nanoscale Heat Transport
School of Nano Science, Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences
November 21, 2024 - (Azar 1, 1403)

In this workshop on nanoscale heat transport, various topics essential for understanding thermal transport at the nano- and micro-scale will be explored. We will examine computational methods for studying thermal transport in ceramic materials, focusing on how phonon-mediated processes are affected by swift heavy ion irradiation. Additionally, the intricacies of solid/liquid interfacial thermal transport and the unique thermal properties of 2D materials will be discussed. The workshop will also cover heat transfer in nanocomposites and nanofluids, providing insights into how these materials can enhance thermal management in advanced applications. This comprehensive overview aims to deepen our understanding of critical aspects of nanoscale thermal transport.

The workshop registration fee is 200,000 Tomans.
In case a sponsor is provided for the workshop, part of the registration fee will be refunded to students after the conference.
