The goal of the one-day workshop on non-equilibrium soft matter is to prepare an active and instructive environment to exchange ideas among people who have focused on soft matter physics in Iran. The workshop is aimed at graduate students, postdocs and senior researchers from interdisciplinary backgrounds such as soft matter and complex fluids, biological physics, statistical physics, fluid dynamics, and polymer science. It will cover different areas from experiment to theory and numerical simulations with topics such as granular matter, applications of optical tweezers, active matter and swimmers.
