This course starts by demonstrating the definition of soft matter. The following topics are then covered: soft matter solutions, elastic soft matter, surfactants, surfaces, diffusion, thermal fluctuations and Brownian motion, liquid crystals and, finally, flow of soft matter. Polymer physics is also presented.
